Where to find Old
Telephones?
They can be found is a large
building in Galesville, 1
block from downtown.
Since 1973, Phoneco has been
restoring old telephones. We
do everything from
polishing, painting to wire
to work.
Our vast selection of
telephones is
unimaginable--pre1900 to
present including woodwalls,
candlestick and cradlephones,
bakelites of the Art Deco
Era, payphones,
plastic
phones of the 50's, 60's,
70's--including colored 500
sets, princess, trimlines,
both rotary and touchtone.
Our 4 story building
includes workspace, for
restoration, storage,
shipping, office and
museum--memorabilia. We even
have the fun novelty phones
such as Mickey Mouse.
We
offer all types of parts for
all types of phones. We
pride ourselves for being
able to supply parts missing
on you phone.
We offer history and
identification of your
phone. The owner of Phoneco
has written several books on
the History and
Identification of Old
telephones; the most recent
being the History of the
Payphone.
Visitors are welcome to roam
our facility, visit with
employees, ask questions,
see the museum.
